The adoption of the general secretary ,election of members, interior regulations and cooperation projects are the main themes of the conference discussion.
The activities of the 7th session of the general conference of the Federation of the Universities of Islamic World this morning kicks off at the at the headquarter of the Islamic Educational , Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO ) ,in Rabat, Kingdom of Morocco, which will last till tomorrow. Menoufia University represented in the Rector Prof , Dr. Meawad Al Kholy participate in the activities of the conference. This was stated by the Media Adviser to the University President Dr. Al Saied Al Saeed.
The conference discussed over two days the schedule which includes : amendment of the federation pact , discuss the Report of the Federation’s Executive Council; the Secretary General’s Report on the Federation’s General Secretariat Activities between the 6th and 7th General Conference Sessions and the Secretary General’s Financial Report on and Study of the Financial Situation for the Years 2013-2015. The Conference will also examine the Draft Action Plan and Budget for 2016-2018, the Project of
The conference discuss the project following up : the integrated program for strengthening exchange among members universities “, project of performance measurement mechanism for universities of Islamic World and its implementation road map “ project of “ Islamic world observatory for Science , Technology and Innovation.
On the second day of the Conference, two roundtables will be organized on the themes of Cooperation and Partnership for Developing Joint University Action , the other one to discuss the Financial Sustainability and Institutional Performance of Universities”
the session is scheduled to elect the executive council members for 2017-2019, endorse the appointment of the FUIW Secretary General and the list of the Islamic world universities and higher institutes having joined the Federation between the 6th and 7th Sessions of the Conference.
The Federation of the Universities of Islamic World established in 1987 is so far made up of 314 members, essentially universities and higher institutes
