The first Geomatics Technology Exhibition was inaugurated in the Department of Geography, Faculty of Arts, Menoufia University, in cooperation with the Center for Geographical Research and Cartography, in the presence of Dr. Osama Madani, Dean of the College, Dr. Fathi Moslehi, Founder of the Center for Geographical Research and Cartography, former Dean of the College and Dr. Abdul Fattah Darwish, vice dean of the faculty for community service and environmental development.

With the participation of the Network Information Center in Cairo and Geomax to present the maps of the facilities, especially the sub-surface, geomatics, surveying and geo-information systems to transfer experience to students, researchers and graduates.

The Cairo Governorate Information Center and Geomax also pledged to work out a cooperation protocol to train students and graduates with state-of-the-art hardware technology.
