Dr. Haitham Maymon Abbas, Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy for Postgraduate Studies and research and Professor of Analytical Chemistry, Faculty of Pharmacy, Menoufia University participated in the international conference "The Use of Chemistry in Drug Discovery and Design" held in Dubai.
Dr. Haitham presented a paper entitled "CZE and HPTLC methods for simultaneus determination candesartan in binary mixtures with amlodipine and hydrochlorothiazide." A joint study was also conducted between three faculties of pharmacy  from Menofia , Alexandria and Damanhur. The research was on how to analyze pressure drugs containing more than one compound Blood pressure reduction in the latest methods of modern technology in analysis.
The conference aims to discover new drugs for the treatment of incurable diseases such as cancer and was attended by a large number of scientists from different countries of the world Canada, Turkey, Pakistan, Iraq and Egypt.
At the end of the conference, Dr. Haitham Maymon Abbas was honored with a certificate of appreciation for presenting the research, which won the admiration of the audience and the way it was presented to the research and was the guest of honor of the opening ceremony of the conference.
