The General Staff Saeed Mohamed Abbas, Governor of Menoufia met with the officials of adult education in the province represented by Dr. Ali Hussein, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Education for Community Service and Vice Chairman of the Center for Adult Education center  and Dr. Heba al-Ghotmy Director of the Adult Education Center at Menoufia University and Dr. Reda Daoud, Director General of Menoufia Adult Education Branch.

The meeting dealt with the position of illiterate people in the governorate and what has been achieved during the recent period, as well as the role of Menoufia University as a major partner in the national project for literacy and adult education. The number of students of Menoufia University has wiped out illiteracy over the last two years.
