Postgraduate Studies and Research Sector at the  University chaired by Dr. Ahmed Farag Al-Kased, Vice President of the University for Sector Affairs, held the eighth session of the Board of Directors of the Scientific Research Unit of the University for the academic year 2018-2019.

The session  began with a discussion of the memo of the university's measurement and evaluation center which includes the postgraduate requirements for activating the university's electronic postgraduate system before the enrollment session in August 2019. The committee agreed to purchase these requirements.

The committee also approved the allocation  of one and a half million pound  to buy scientific and research equipment for the different departments of the Faculty of Medicine and the central lab in the faculty.

Al-Kased also pointed out that a special wing of the University of Menoufia was dedicated to the World Scientific Forum organized by the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology under the title "Higher Education and Scientific Research Forum between the Present and the Future" from April 4-6, 2019.

The Committee also agreed to refund the tuition fees paid by the registered assistants to obtain degrees at the universities of Cairo and Mansoura.

The meeting was held in the presence of the members of the committee, Dr. Alawi Al-Khouly, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Dr. Mohammad Kandil, Dr. Tarek Al-Adawi, the undersecretaries of the Faculty of Medicine and Agriculture, and Asmaa Abdel Halim, Director General of Funds and Special Accounts.
