Faculty of Nursing at Menoufia University hold an awareness seminar entitled "Corona virus between prevention and treatment" under the auspices of Dr. Adel Mubarak, President of the University, Dr. Ahmed Farag Al-Qasid, Vice President of the University for Postgraduate Studies and Research and Supervisor of the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector, Dr. Enas Qassem, Dean of the College and Dr. Amal Shehata Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development

 

Dr. Amal Shehata indicated that the seminar comes as part of a series of seminars held by the college to raise awareness of how to prevent corona virus, in the interest of the college for the safety of students, faculty, and college and university employees.

The symposium covered the definition of Corona virus, the infection, symptoms, ways to prevent and precautions to be followed during travel

The seminar also confirmed that the  virus is transmitted by flying mist from the patient during coughing or sneezing. Or touch the surfaces and tools contaminated with the virus, and then touch the mouth, nose or eye. Being in crowded public places and direct contact with the injured.

The seminar  warned that the hands should be washed thoroughly and continuously with soap, water or other disinfectants, especially after coughing or sneezing, and using restrooms  , before and after preparing foods and avoiding contact with eyes, nose, and mouth by hand as possible, hands can transmit the virus after contacting surfaces contaminated with the virus . And put medical masks in places of gatherings.
