Dr. Adel Mubarak, the president of Al Menoufia University, received Dr. Khaled Abdul Ghafar, the Minister of higher Education and Scientific Research in “Toukh tanbsha” farm to inspect the services offered by the farm to serve the society and its contribution to meeting the citizens' needs.

The Minister of higher Education and Scientific Research explained that this visit aims at inspecting all the productive units in the Egyptian universities and using the period of the school interruption to develop the role of universities toward society, especially the faculties of agriculture, developing their capabilities for the development of agricultural wealth and contributing to the sustainable rural development, Increasing the animal and plant products they provide to cover the needs of society, using scientific research and adapt their potential to increase crop production, increasing livestock production and find appropriate solutions to all problems facing productive units.

The president gave a detailed presentation of the farm units and their area of 18 acres that contain barns of cattle, which are being raised and fed to meet the community's needs of meat and dairy products and automatic milking lab ,the plant farm and crops cultivated, referring to the renovations made on the farm, the restructuring of the barns and stores, and the opening of the farm doors for the practical training of the Faculty of Veterinary students to develop their abilities and qualify them for the labor market, until their Faculty building on the farm land is completed in“Toukh tanbsha”.

The Minister of higher Education and Scientific Research praised the farm's work and fully supported its increased productivity to provide its role to society and meet its needs for animal and plant products.
