Dr. Adel Mubarak, President of Menoufia University, inaugurated the tenth international scientific conference of the College of Education, which was launched under the title "Development of creativity in Arab societies ... visions and practices."

In the presence of the Vice President of the University Dr. Ahmed Al-Qasid for Postgraduate Studies and Research, Dr. Nancy Asaad for Education and Students, Dr. Abdel-Rahman Al-Bagouri for Community Service and Environmental Development, Dr. Sobhi Sharaf, Dean of the Faculty of Education, and the conference guests, Dr. Iqbal Al-Samalouti, Professor of Planning and Community Development and Head of the Arab Network for Literacy and Adult Education, Dr. Ashour Al-Amri, head of the executive body of the General Authority for Literacy and Adult Education, Dr. Ashraf Muharram, Director of the UNESCO Regional Center for Adult Education, Dr. Ahmed Sweid, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education in Menoufia, and Businessman Muhammad Khaira, Dr. Osama Madani, Media Adviser to the President of the University and the Dean of the College of Arts and a group of deans Faculties, faculty members, the supporting staff, and a large number of conference participants and students.

Mubarak welcomed the conference guests, praising the topic of the conference and the importance of developing creativity in all societies and thinking outside the box, looking at the familiar in a way or from an unfamiliar angle and turning it into an idea and a factor that is applicable and used, or creating a new idea that results in a distinct production that is not common and can be applied.

Mubarak stressed on the importance of working on developing the creativity skills of students and benefiting from them, and raising awareness of the role of educational institutions in this direction and developing them to develop the capabilities of creative students, refine their skills, and adopt their talents to benefit from their creativity.

Finally, the University President wished success for the conference’s activities and reached important recommendations that could be implemented.

On the one hand, Dr. Subhi Sharaf, Dean of the Faculty and the President of the Conference, spoke in his speech about the objectives of the conference, which is the study of methods of developing creative thinking among the learner, presenting the latest studies and academic and applied research in the relationship between education and creativity, introducing the latest theoretical and applied developments in social education, recognizing the reality of caring for Innovators, exchanging experiences and getting acquainted with field experiences in giftedness and creativity, exploring the challenges facing talent and creativity in the field, studying projects related to developing the employment of creativity in education, presenting successful experiences in the field of education and creativity, developing the educational structure in line with creativity, making use of modern technologies in Creativity development.

Dr. Nahid Ghoneim, Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research, indicated in her speech the importance of creativity in our community life, as it is one of the most important educational goals that developed societies seek to achieve. The energies of the community members must be invested and transformed into positive energies of high quality and added value in society, and the conference will display Research and working papers that demonstrate creative thinking and successful experiences in the field of education and creativity.

During the opening session, a documentary film about the origins and achievements of the College of Education was shown, and an artistic presentation in which students from the college and some creative people of determination participated.

At the end of the inauguration, the dean of the college presented the conference shield to Dr. Adel Mubarak, the university president and the deputies, Dr. Iqbal Al-Samalouti, Dr. Ashour Al-Omari, the Resala Charitable Society for its distinguished role in supporting the conference, and Dr. Iqbal Al-Samalouti presented a special shield to the university president.
