Menoufia University Announces its participation in the “Best Friendly University” and “Best Environmentally Friendly Project” competitions in the seventh session of the Community Service Sector

This morning, Dr. Abdel Rahman El-Bagouri, Vice President of Menoufia University for Community Service and Environmental Development, held the seventh session of the Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs Sector for the year 2020/2021, where he started the session by discussing the university’s participation in the “Best Friendly University” and “Best Environmentally Friendly Applied Project in the Session” competitions. And the formation of the committees concerned with the follow-up


Al-Bagoury stressed the need for the applied environmental project to serve the university and society as a whole and be environmentally friendly, as he put forward some ideas for the project and came to the fore with projects on solar energy, biogas or waste recycling, provided that the project be new and innovative, and the competition committee was formed by Dr. Amal Shehata and Dr. El-Sayed Jalila, Dr. Hiam and Dr. Rehab Salama, while the committee for the competition for the best friendly university was formed by Dr. Mahmoud Al-Sheikh, Dr. Abdul Rahman Al-Sibai, Dr. Hassan Eleiwa and Dr. Iman Khamis.


El-Bagoury also discussed the “Industrial Egypt” project, which was approved by the Supreme Council of Universities on the Al-Alfi platform within the initiative of a decent life, in which the faculties of nursing, childhood education, home economics, specific education and agriculture participated, where they presented educational videos to teach simple crafts such as watchmaking, embroidery, beekeeping, agriculture and first aid work.


The council reviewed the sector's agenda and activities, including convoys, seminars, and new work, noting that the university aims to complete the participation in the initiative of a decent life and complete the integrated convoy tours to 81 villages of Ashmoun and Al-Shuhada.
