The Olympic Champion Mohamed Ibrahim, known as "Kisho", was launched at Menoufia University, organized by the Egyptian Universities Sports Federation in cooperation with Menoufia University, with the participation of 19 universities, as part of the activities of the 49th Martyr Al-Rifai course for universities and Egyptian institutes, under the auspices of Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education, and Dr. Ashraf Sobhy, Minister of Youth and Sports, in the presence of Dr. Mohamed Sobhi Hassanein, Vice President of the Universities Sports Federation, and supervised by Dr. Nancy Asaad, Vice President of Menoufia University for Education and Student Affairs, and Dr. Hisham El-Gyoushi, Secretary General of the Egyptian Universities Sports Federation.
Mubarak offered a greeting of appreciation and pride to the sponsor of sports in Egypt, His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, the President of the Republic, who is keen to practice sports and directs everyone to practice it and supports all sports activities.
The president of the university also addressed a welcome greeting to all the attendees from the Sports Federation, the champions from participating Egyptian university students and the world champion Mohamed Ibrahim, who raised the flag of Egypt in international forums, directing the students to take an example to follow and an incentive to encourage them to develop their skills, interest in sports and to be a keen lifestyle It everyone.
Mubarak extended his sincere thanks to His Excellency Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education, and Dr. Ashraf Sobhy, Minister of Youth and Sports, for their sponsorship of the Martyr Al-Rifai course and the support of various student activities, wishing success for the championship activities.
Dr. Mohamed Sobhi Hassanein, Vice-President of the Egyptian Sports Federation, conveyed the greetings of the Minister of Higher Education, Youth and Sports to all participants in the sports festival, praising the university’s organization of the tournament activities, which were hosted by Menoufia University and started yesterday in the chess championship, expressing his happiness at his presence at the university, and thanking the university president, the sportsman who is always keen To practice sports, support sports activity and encourage students to participate in various activities.
Dr. Mohamed Shaheen, Director General of Youth Welfare, stated that the 19 universities participating in the competitions are: Menoufia, Alexandria, Assiut, Al-Azhar, the British University, Sadat, Suez, Cairo, Mansoura, Badr, Banha, Higher Education, Helwan, Daraya, Tanta, Ain Shams, Suez Canal and Kafr El-Sheikh, with a total of 121 players in different weights under the supervision of the captain Yasser Jamal, Director of Sports Activity, General Administration of Youth Welfare.
During the opening, the world champion Muhammad Ibrahim "Kisho" was honored and the shield of the University and the Sports Federation was given to him, who expressed his happiness with this honor, which he considers an incentive to complete his career and raise the flag of Egypt in all countries of the world. International, in addition to honoring the jury and distinguished students.
The inauguration was attended by Dr. Naim Fawzy, Dean of Physical Education, Dr. Hisham El-Gyoshi, Secretary General of the Egyptian Universities Sports Federation, Dr. Emad El-Sersy, Undersecretary of Physical Education, and a large group of faculty members, students and workers in the General Administration of Youth Welfare.
