The Faculty of Mass Communication, Menoufia University, under the auspices of Dr. Adel Mubarak, President of the University, and the presence of Dr. Abdel-Gawad Said, Dean of the Faculty of Mass Communication, Menoufia University, participated in the Fifth Scientific Conference on “The Role of Media and Art in Building Awareness and Raising Public Taste”, which was organized by the Faculty of Mass Communication at the Modern University for Technology and Information under the patronage of Dr. Khaled Abdul Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research. This conference came within the framework of the awareness role that universities must provide to support various issues, most notably the issue of the media and its role in promoting the values ​​and ethics of society and working to provide optimal values ​​to raise public taste.

After Dr. Abdel-Gawad Saeed, in the sixth scientific session on the role of social networking sites in addressing issues of public affairs and the importance of new media in educating citizens about the issues of their society, he also pointed out that art and media are soft forces for Egyptian culture, and that the twinning between media and art has become close, as each of them has a major role. awareness and the formation of public opinion
On the sidelines of the conference, His Excellency was honored with the University Shield and a certificate of appreciation for his efforts in the field of media studies. The conference came under the auspices of Dr. Olfat Kamel, President of the Modern University, and Dr. Sami Al Sharif, Dean of the Faculty of Mass Communication at the Modern University, attended by a group of deans and professors of media from various Egyptian and international universities. And a selection of media pioneers and professors in Egypt, Africa, Asia and Europe.
