Dr. Adel Mubarak, President of Menoufia University, and Major General Ibrahim Abu Laimon, Governor of Menoufia, witnessed the start of the university’s celebrations of its forty-fifth anniversary, in the presence of former university presidents and vice presidents, Dr. Ahmed Al-Kased for Postgraduate Studies and Research, Dr. Nancy Asaad for Education, students, accountant Jalal Abdel Salam, Secretary General of the University, deans of faculties, members of the University Council and a large number of university guests, including public figures, political and security leaders, members of the House of Representatives and Senate, and a large group of university students, including faculty, staff and students, gathered in a large gathering in the hall covered in the university stadium.

The celebration began with the screening of a documentary film implemented by the university's media production unit under the supervision of Dr. Osama Madani, the media advisor to the president of the university, on some of the university's achievements in the last three years since Dr. Adel Mubarak assumed its presidency until now.

At the beginning of his speech, Mubarak offered congratulations to His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, the Egyptian people and the university’s children on the occasion of a new Gregorian year, and congratulations to the Coptic brothers on their holidays, wishing a new year full of achievements, prosperity and prosperity for dear Egypt in God’s protection and care.

Mubarak extended his thanks and appreciation to everyone who participated in the university’s celebration of its anniversary and the keenness on this annual meeting to celebrate the edifice and its achievements since the university’s inception in 1976, and to review the successive efforts of the sons of Menoufia University until the present time, and coordination between the various sectors of work embodies for us the distinguished level the university has reached. And a high position among universities, conveying the greetings of Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and his failure to attend because of his association with a work mission.

The university president presented a selection of the achievements of Menoufia University; These are achievements that were written by its sons with their efforts, sincerity and dedication day after day, so Menoufia University became a beacon shining in the sky of our dear Egypt and the achievements it is witnessing under the new republic.

He concluded his speech by stressing that this lofty edifice, with its distinguished services in all fields, has attained this high position thanks to the loyalty of its loyal sons, headed by all the former presidents of Menoufia University who devoted their efforts to serving it and gave their best efforts and expertise to see their beloved university in continuous distinction, as people and positions are passing away. But history remains a testament to the achievement that clearly indicates the sincere efforts of its loyal sons. Everyone contributed to his position with love and devotion for the sake of the advancement of our university, Menoufia University, the shining beacon in the heart of the Delta.

Major General Ibrahim Abu Laimon, Governor of Menoufia, expressed his happiness to be among the university’s students to celebrate the annual anniversary of this great edifice of education in the land of the Delta, stressing that Menoufia University is an active partner in the development process in the governorate because of its educational and societal role that reflects the university’s belief in the need to unify all efforts. And visions in order to achieve the advancement of all development and service sectors in the governorate, and Menoufia University has a tangible role in voluntary and field work based on its mission towards the people of Menoufia and the neighboring governorates.

In conclusion, the Governor extends his sincere congratulations to all the members of the university family, wishing everyone continued progress and advancement, stressing his full support for all activities that establish the concept of participation and enhance ways to advance the educational and university sector in the Menoufia governorate.

The President of the University Students' Union gave a speech on behalf of the students to congratulate the university on its anniversary and to review the student activities organized by the university.

The celebration included honoring  some businessmen for their services and cooperation with the university, honoring the university’s faculty members who have reached the age of retirement, honoring the recipients of the university’s appreciation and encouragement awards, the university’s prize for scientific writing, the PhD. And the best master’s thesis in the scientific sector. The events also included honoring honorable faculty members in international forums, honoring the leaders of the administrative apparatus referred to retirement, honoring colleges that won environmental excellence awards, and honoring distinguished masters and doctorate holders from home and abroad.

The celebration also included various artistic performances presented by the choir of the Faculty of Specific Education under the supervision of Dr. Mohamed Zidan, Dean of the College. The attendees praised the talent of the students.
