Under the patronage of Dr. Adel Mubarak, President of Menoufia University, the Faculty of Pharmacy participated in the celebration of “The Sixth Menoufia Pharmacist Day”, which was organized today by the Menoufia Pharmacists Syndicate under the auspices of Major General Ibrahim Abulimoon, Governor of Menoufia. President of Sadat City University, Dr. Moawad El-Khouly, President of New Mansoura University, Dr. Faisal Gouda, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health in Menoufia, Dr. Mustafa Salam, Head of the Menoufia Pharmacists Syndicate, Dr. Haitham Maimon, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Dr. Gamal El-Leithi, President of the Chamber of Pharmaceutical Industry in Egypt

 

 

Members of the House of Representatives, Senate and unions in the middle of the delta, deans and agents of faculties, the Department of Pharmacy in the Directorate of Health Affairs and Free Treatment, the University Hospital, the Liver Institute, the branch unions of the middle of the Delta, the Doctors Syndicate, the Dental Syndicate, the Veterinarians Syndicate, and the Medical Syndicate also attended.

 

The celebration came to honor the graduates of the faculties of pharmacy, Menoufia University and Sadat University, batch 2020/2021, as well as honoring the pioneers of the pharmacy profession who have reached the age of sixty, the governorate’s leaders, and parliamentarians from the medical sector in the Senate and Parliament, in appreciation of their efforts to raise the pharmaceutical system on the land of Menoufia, and participate in the celebration Many sponsors for pharmaceutical companies.

 

The ceremony began with national anthem, followed by the Holy Quran, and a minute of silence was observed for the souls of the martyrs of the White Army, in appreciation of their heroic role in confronting the Corona pandemic.

 

Dr. Mustafa Salam welcomed the attendees, pointing out that this celebration is a distinguished annual event, and we are all partners in the success of this medical system for the development of our beloved country, Egypt.

 

For his part, Dr. Moawad Al-Khouli expressed his happiness at graduating the first batch of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Menoufia University, which was established during his reign.

 

 

Dr. Ahmed Bayoumi stressed that the pharmacy profession has a major role in the performance of the integration of the health system in Egypt, given the circumstances the country has gone through, which has proven its worth and its dedicated efforts in work and sincerity. And make the beloved Egypt in the best case.

 

 

Haitham Maymoon also congratulated the college students on graduating the first batch of the College of Pharmacy, wishing them more successes and excellence in their next life, noting that all graduates are ambassadors to the community, as pharmacists have a great role in saving human life, and this role became clear, especially after the Corona pandemic, as well. He stressed the need for communication between graduates and the college to support and develop the health process.

 

 

Then the celebration moved to the pact of honor for the graduates, the awarding of shields to the honorees and the pioneers of the profession to those who reached the age of 60, and the delivery of certificates of appreciation to all graduates.
