Dr. Adel Mubarak, President of Menoufia University, inaugurated the Egypt Cup for Goalball and the Egypt Cup for Athletics, which is held under the patronage of Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Adel Mubarak, President of Menoufia University, and Dr. Ahmed Owen, President of the Egyptian Federation of Blind Sports and member of the Executive Office of the International Federation, which is hosted by The university over three days in the covered gymnasium at Menoufia University

In his speech, Dr. Adel Mubarak welcomed the clubs and delegations participating in the Egypt Cup for People of Determination, expressing his happiness to organize any activities and tournaments for people of determination with outstanding abilities, praising the efforts of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, and his care for people of determination and his full care for them, and support for activities And the tournaments in which they participate, and his permanent directives to all state institutions to expand the umbrella of social protection for people of determination and to provide them with all necessary means to obtain all their rights, praising all heroes of people of determination and their achievements in the world.

The President of the University thanked the Minister of Higher Education for his sponsorship of the championship and his permanent support for the university, and thanks to Dr. Nancy Asaad, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, and Dr. Abdul Rahman Al-Bagouri, Advisor to the President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development, and the College of Physical Education and Youth Welfare at the university for their efforts in organizing the tournament and hosting the participating delegations. He wished success for the championship activities, compete honorably and preserve the sportsmanship, stressing that everyone who participated is a winner and has appreciation and thanks.

Dr. Ahmed Owain, President of the Egyptian Federation of Blind Mathematics, delivered a speech in which he expressed his sincere thanks to the president of the university and all those who participated in organizing the tournament and for the good hosting and provision of all their needs, expressing his happiness to be in Menoufia University.

Owen reviewed the activities of the Federation and the tournaments it organized and sponsorship for all athletes of determination, stressing the importance of supporting athletes in various sports to discover the champions who have achieved advanced positions in the world.

The president of the university gave the start of the tournament and threw the starting ball in the opening speedball match in the tournament, and was keen to be in the midst of the audience to watch the match.

The Al-Azima Club from Ismailia, Abu Al-Rish from Aswan, Al-Hadaf Club from Tanta, Hira Cave and Quesna Youth Center, Mubarak Club Beni Suef, Freedom Club Port Said, Al-Sikka Al-Hadid Club, Al-Salam Club from Benha, Nasser Assiut, and Damanhour Games will participate in the tournament.

At the end of the celebration, the president of the university and the president of the Egyptian Federation exchanged memorial shields.

The celebration was attended by Dr. Nancy Asaad, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Dr. Abdel Rahman El-Bagouri, Advisor to the President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development, Dr. Sobhy Sharaf, Dean of Education, Dr. Hamdy Watout, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Physical Education, Dr. Rania Azmy, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, and Dr. Mohamed Shaheen.
