Dr. Adel Mubarak, President of Menoufia University, announced that Menoufia University students succeeded in liberating (6,256) male and female citizens in the April 2022 session, through the classes they contracted at the departments of the General Authority for Adult Education, bringing the total number of citizens liberated from illiteracy by Menoufia University students a year ago. 2014 and so far 33,208 male and female citizens in various villages and centers in Menoufia Governorate, as well as outside Menoufia Governorate.

The president of the university praised this important achievement and the students’ willingness to participate in the presidential initiative, Egypt without illiteracy, within the activities of the Dignified Life Initiative, and the efforts of the Egyptian state, under its political leadership, to improve the level of all services provided to the villages most in need, and to emphasize the eradication of illiteracy because it represents a national issue that must be confronted. and eliminating them, and all aspects of support will be provided to university students to play their role towards this important issue, which comes among the priorities of university work during the coming period, within the framework of the university’s social and national responsibility towards the country.
