Dr. Adel Mubarak, President of Menoufia University, received the shield of the first international annual conference of the Department of Psychiatry and Neurology at the Faculty of Medicine at the university, which was held under the title Updates in Neuroscience4 and included 45 lectures by specialists, including 8 foreign professors from England, France, America and Japan, in addition to specialized professors from all universities in Egypt To discuss everything new in the diagnosis and treatment of mental and neurological diseases.

The conference shield was presented to the university president, Dr. Rasha Al-Qabbani, head of the Department of Psychology and Neurology. She thanked the university president for his sponsorship of the conference and his permanent support for the department and all departments of the college.

The president of the university thanked the head of the department and all its employees for their efforts, which culminated in the department receiving the Diamond Award in Stroke Treatment from the World Stroke Organization, and in appreciation of the efforts made in establishing the first intensive care unit specialized in treating stroke cases in Menoufia Governorate.
