Under the auspices of Dr. Ahmed Farag El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, and Dr. Nancy Youssef Asaad, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs.. Menoufia University is hosting an introductory meeting on the “Diamond Reader” competition for Menoufia University students, as part of the “National Reading Project” competitions, at 12:00 noon. On Sunday, corresponding to February 26, in Auditorium (1) of the Faculty of Computers and Information, Dr. Hisham Al-Sangari, Director of Educational Projects at the Scientific Research Foundation, Egypt and Africa Branch, and Dr. Abdo Ibrahim, Director of Quality Activities at the Scientific Research Foundation, will lecture at the meeting.


This introductory meeting comes in light of Menoufia University's interest in supporting a culture of reading, reading, and self-learning to employ creative reading skills and enhance the specialized knowledge structure.


This meeting coincides with the opening of the “Diamond Reader” kiosk at the Theoretical Colleges Complex (in front of the College of Commerce).


It is worth noting that the National Project for Reading is a sustainable, competitive cultural project that aims to guide Egypt's youth and children to continue functional, creative, critical reading in order to reach a society that learns, thinks and innovates, in line with Egypt's Vision 2030. It is one of the projects of the "Scientific Research Foundation" in the United Arab Emirates, and specializes in competition The “Diamond Reader” competed among all Egyptian university students according to specific mechanisms and criteria, as prizes worth 5 million Egyptian pounds were allocated to the total winners.
