General Department of Community Service

The General Department of Community Service is responsible for achieving the following activities:-

• Setting the executive plans and policies approved by the Council of Community Service and Environmental Development in the different training fields held at the University to serve the community.

• Following up the implementation of the necessary procedures to establish the self-sponsored units suggested by various faculties whether in the University Council or in the Supreme Council of Universities , reviewing the monthly financial data and the reports of the self-sponsored units in addition to reviewing the units’ bylaws and accrediting them by the Ministry of Finance.

• Preparing a schedule for the integrated campaigns through the year and following up the execution of their activities to avoid any problems or difficulties.

• Preparing and organizing conferences, symposiums , workshops and forums concerning Community Service and Environmental Development in collaboration with external authorities and in coordination with the concerned University general departments.

• Following up the University constructions for non-students to ensure their being proper for fulfilling their functions, submitting proposals for the development of these constructions in addition to supervising researches and studies relevant to community service and environmental development.
