Arab Organization for Education, Culture and Science announces the launch of ALECSO Prize for mobile applications (Alecso Apps Award) with annual prize money of US $ 50,000. This contest is intended to encourage developers Arabs on technological innovation and development of high quality applications in Arab areas of education, culture, science and educational toys.

This award falls within the ALECSO project for the advancement of Arab mobile applications which aims to provide the necessary technical and institutional environment to contribute to the emergence of an Arab industry applications for smart phones, digital paintings (www.alecsoapps.com).
