Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Adel Mubarak, President of Menoufia University, Prof. Dr. Nancy Asaad, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Farag Al-Qased, Vice President for Graduate Studies, Prof. Dr. Hatem Mohamed Abdel Qader, Dean of the Faculty of Computers and Information - Menoufia University, and Prof. Dr. Ayman Amira, Dean of the Faculty of Electronic Engineering in Menouf, Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Al-Sheikh, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Shebin El-Kom, and Dr. Amira Abdel-Aty, the competition official Nine teams from Menoufia University participated on August 27, after two teams were added to the 7 pre-qualified teams in the first stage, with a number of distinction points for university students. The Faculty of Computers and Information - Menoufia University, the Faculty of Electronic Engineering in Menouf, and the Faculty of Engineering at Shebin El-Kom participated; In the official competition for ACM-ECPC software at the level of Egyptian universities at the Arab Academy for Science and Technology in cooperation with the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology. A total of 250 teams from all Egyptian universities affiliated to the computer sector participated in the competition. This is the second level of the competition, in which students are tested on the use of systematic solving methods and algorithms to solve problems using computers in the least possible time, as well as teamwork through a team of 3 students. The competition is considered a battle of minds for Egyptian university students. The qualified teams were announced at the closing ceremony of the official software competition for Egyptian university students ECPC, in the presence of the Deputy Minister of Communications, a representative of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, Prof. Dr. Osama Abdel Ghaffar, President of the Academy, and Prof. Iman Tharwat, Head of the Computer and Artificial Intelligence Sector at the Supreme Council of Universities Menoufia ranked tenth among the Egyptian universities, in order as follows: The Arab Academy, Cairo Branch, Faculty of Computers, Ain Shams University, GUC, AUC, Nile University, Al-Azhar University, Alexandria Engineering, Suez Canal University, and Al-Menoufia ranked tenth among the universities of the computer sector to represent Egypt in the Arab championship.
