under the care of :- Mr. Dr. Ahmed El-Kased, President of Menoufia University Today, Sunday, 5/3/2023, the Nile Center for Media in Shebin El-Koum held a media meeting on "Decentralized Digital Currencies and Their Impact on the National Economy" in the Faculty of Computers and Information, during which the Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Dr. Hatem Abdel Qader, with the participation of third and fourth year students. Abdul Qadir confirmed that the mania of quick gain that afflicted some people and the lack of an electronic culture among many people led them into the clutches of professional fraudsters, to become a new problem called "Victims of Bitcoin". Abdul Qadir explained that decentralized digital currencies "do not have a central bank" whose aim is to abolish the central currency in each country, and even to abolish the control of countries over their currencies, which means that countries do not control their economies, but rather what this currency is governed by. And Abdullah Al-Qadir stated that the Egyptian state did not allow the circulation of these currencies for economic dealings, and therefore any promotion of them is a form of defrauding the national economy and calling for its destruction, especially since some have responded to the calls of the promoters of this currency with its applications and accounts on social media as a mining industry for the currency. Abdul Qadir called on the students to be ambassadors of their specialization to their geographical locations to inform citizens of the danger of dealing with these currencies, and the necessity of material dealings with recognized state institutions, as well as for them to possess many skills, especially in the world of technology, so whoever does not have a skill, let him know that the computer will replace it. someday.
