"Al-Kased" chairs the meeting of the Council of Graduate Studies and Research at Menoufia University

On Wednesday, July 7, 2021 , the Graduate Studies and Research Sector held a meeting of the Council of Graduate Studies and Research headed by Dr. Ahmed Farag Al-Kased, Vice President for Graduate Studies Affairs, and in the presence of the university’s deputies for graduate studies and research, members of the Council, and the Director General of Graduate Studies and Research


On Wednesday, July 7, 2021 , the Graduate Studies and Research Sector held a meeting of the Council of Graduate Studies and Research headed by Dr. Ahmed Farag Al-kased, Vice President of the University for Graduate Studies Affairs, and in the presence of the vice-presidents of the university’s colleges for graduate studies and research, members of the Council, and the Director General of Graduate Studies and Research; This was done through the zoom meeting and during the meeting, the following topics were addressed:
1- Determining the date of the second semester exams for postgraduate students for the academic year 2020/2021 (Pre-Masters / Diplomas) at the Faculty of Science from 27/6/2021 until 18/7/2021, and the Council decided to “Approval”

2- Considering the approval of the retroactive suspension of enrollment for some students enrolled in postgraduate studies (diploma / master's) at the Faculty of Medicine; The Council decided to "recommend approval and raise the matter to the University Council."

3- Considering the approval of extending the study period for some students enrolled in postgraduate studies (diploma / master's) at the Faculty of Medicine; The council decided to "recommend approval and raise the issue to the university council, provided that the second extension is the last one."

4- Studying the troubled cases of postgraduate students registered with the degrees (Masters and Ph.D.) to find out the reasons for their delay and help them to complete their studies and their theses in the appropriate manner. The Council decided to “recommend approval and raise the issue to the University Council.”

5- During the meeting, the annual and semi-annual reports of some postgraduate students registered for master's and doctoral degrees for the previous and current academic year were also briefed on the faculties (electronic engineering - commerce - science).

His Excellency followed the conduct of the postgraduate examinations at the university's colleges and institutes, stressing full compliance with all precautionary and preventive measures in accordance with the instructions of the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research during the period of postgraduate exams to preserve the health and safety of students and those in charge of the educational process.
