Dr. Adel Mubarak, President of Menoufia University , held a session of the University Council for January 2021 in the presence of the members of the Council Dr. Ahmed Zaki Badr, former Minister of Local Development and member of the Council from abroad and the vice-chancellors of the university Dr. Ahmed Al-Kased  for graduate studies and research, Dr. Nancy Asaad for education and students, Dr. Abdul Rahman Al Bajouri for community service and environmental development, accountant Akram Abdul Dayem, secretary general of the university, and deans of colleges.

Mubarak confirmed at the beginning of the session that President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, president of the Republic attaches great attention to education and scientific research since he assumed the presidency, and there is a clear development in the index of quality of education at all levels, and egypt progresses in the global classifications of the quality of education, pointing to the interest in establishing universities and adding new specialties and programs in accordance with international standards to graduate a distinguished student in line with the requirements of the labor market, and the general orientation of the establishment of private universities and its important role to provide a distinguished educational service to students through non-profit education and give an opportunity to those who have the ability to bear The cost of education is acceptable through community universities, and relieves pressure on public universities.

From this standpoint and the general orientation of the state’s strategy to develop higher education, Mubarak announced the approval of the Supreme Council of Universities to establish Menoufia Private University at Toukh Tanbasha Farm. With perseverance and hard work to provide a distinguished educational service for the people of the province.

Mubarak indicated that the university will start its establishment after taking the necessary legal measures and establishing it on an area of ​​18 acres in the Toukh Tanbasha farm according to the latest educational systems and the general perception of private universities at the state level, indicating that a higher committee will be formed to follow up the procedures and implementation mechanisms, wishing success in achieving This huge project and the new challenge to prove the ability of the university team to achieve all the achievements.

Mubarak resumed the session by emphasizing that the exams for the first semester for the academic year 2020-2021, on schedule after the end of the mid-year vacation, directed the deans on preparing for exams and setting schedules and preparing to announce them, and discussed the mechanisms of the implementation of the examinations according to the possibilities of colleges and student numbers in each college with emphasis on the application of precautionary and preventive measures to face the virus of Corona, and prepare for the start of the second semester in universities after the end of the exams of the first semester.
