Dr. Abdel-Rahman Al-Bagoury, Vice President of Menoufia University for Community Service and Environmental Development, participated in  the Supreme Council session  for Community Service and Environmental Development Online , which included many important national issues and projects that are concerned with providing a decent life for the Egyptian society and the environment. The council discussed the dignified life project called by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and how to activate the participation of Egyptian universities in the initiative during the year 2021, and it is necessary to immediately develop 51 Egyptian villages as a first stage. the council concluded that participation includes medical, veterinary, agricultural, educational and literacy caravans in cooperation with the Adult Education Authority, in addition to activating the role of engineering colleges in developing informal settlements to develop the most needy villages and raise the standard of living of citizens and villages in the Egyptian countryside.
Al-Bagoury reviewed during the session a report on the activities of the community service sector in the implementation of convoys and activities of Menoufia University during the month of January 2021 and presented the approval of the University Council for students to perform a literacy eradication of 4: 2 a successful student as a condition for obtaining this graduation certificate in addition to presenting the efforts of the Adult Education Center in the national project For literacy and adult education.
