This morning, in collaboration with the Menoufia Engineering Union, a scientific symposium on "Solar Energy Systems and Applications in Egypt" was organized under the auspices of Dr. Adel Mubarak, President of the University. In his statement, Al-Bagouri stressed the desire of the University of Al-Menoufia to participate in the various State plans for sustainable development 2030, as well as the initiatives of the President of the Republic in the development of Egyptian countryside and the initiative for a decent life. It is in this spirit that the community sector seeks to develop the environment using new and renewable energy. Raising awareness among citizens of the use of solar energy to rationalize consumption and to mainstream solar energy into electricity generation was a clean and renewable energy. Egypt enjoyed its strong sunshine throughout the year.
Dr. Shebl Daha said that he was pleased to cooperate with the University of Menoufia in the applications of solar energy, its transformation into electricity, the widespread use of solar energy systems in various fields and the need for concerted efforts in various disciplines to reach out to communities aware of the importance of renewable energy, its applications and uses and to seek to facilitate the exploitation of such energies.
Dr. Magdi Abo ghzala, Director of the University's New and Renewable Energy Centre, pointed out that the Public Service Centre was working to mainstream new and renewable energies into community development and to rationalize consumption as clean and renewable energy.
Dr. Salah Arfa, a professor and sustainable development expert at American University, spoke about seeking to transform societies into 100% renewable energy societies and capable societies, pointing out that sustainability, which is abbreviated to first grade work, is used in grades 2, 3 and 4, with children being trained as home futures.
On the sidelines of the symposium, the shields were exchanged. Dr. Abdurrahman Al-Bagouri presented the University Award to Dr. Shubel, who also presented the Engineering Union Award to Al-Baguri, and presented certificates of appreciation to the participants.
