Mubarak receives the field visit team of the National Liver Institute from the National Authority for Quality Assurance of Education and Accreditation

Dr. Adel Mubarak, President of Menoufia University, received the team of the field visit to the National Liver Institute from the National Authority for Quality Assurance of Education and Accreditation  and were received by Dr. Hisham Abdel Dayem, Dean of the Institute. The meeting between the president of the university and Dr. Azza Al-Arab, "team leader", talked about the institute's preparations to meet the quality standards in accordance with the accreditation guide. Mubarak stressed that the university's National Liver Institute is a shining focus in the treatment of liver diseases and liver transplantation at the regional and international levels, and includes highly trained medical cadres. Internally and externally, it has unique and distinct treatment units such as a specialized unit for liver transplantation, a special unit for gastrointestinal endoscopy, endoscopy of the bile ducts, a surgical unit that includes more than eight operating rooms, a laboratory unit for clinical pathology, biochemistry, microbiology, parasites, and a stem cell research unit. The Diagnostics and Interventional Radiology Unit, the Hepatitis Virus Treatment Unit, the Pediatric Unit, and the Metabolic Unit. The delegation includes Dr. Zainab Nabil, Dr. Maysa Abbas, Dr. Ola Farouk, Dr. Essam Al-Halabi, and the meeting was attended by Dr. Wafaa Zahran, Director of the Quality Assurance Center at the university, and Dr. Rania Azmy, Deputy Director of the Center.
