The president of the university presented the medical report of the cases and what was done for each injured, as the first case was admitted to the emergency of Menoufia University Hospitals at exactly six thirty in the morning, and the cases continued to enter successively until seven in the morning, and full medical examinations were done for them (analysis, sonar on the abdomen and pelvis, Plain x-rays on the chest, abdomen and pelvis, CT scans on the brain and skull bones, plain x-rays on the vertebrae, duplexes on the arteries of the lower extremities and the left upper extremity, plain x-rays on the bones in different parts of the body according to the injury of each case, and examining and diagnosing cases to reach the medical procedure that was taken With each case by an integrated team of professors and consultants at the Faculty of Medicine and Menoufia University Hospitals in the disciplines of general surgery, vascular surgery, plastic surgery, neurosurgery, orthopedics, cardiothoracic surgery, ENT surgery, anesthesia, emergency and critical cases unit. The presence of various injuries consisting of a lacerated bruise on the upper extremity for all cases. It was found that the limbs were in poor condition, some of them were almost amputated, and the rest of the injuries varied between broken bones A bruise, laceration and loss of the scalp, a small hematoma in the abdomen, a lacerated wound in the left ear and a fracture of the left femur.
After the decision of the medical committee of professors and consultants, after examining the clinical cases and reviewing all the medical examinations that were carried out at eight o’clock in the morning, the medical condition of each patient’s family was explained separately and the medical procedure that would be taken regarding the multiple injuries for each case.
The necessary surgeries were performed and the injured were transferred to the intensive care rooms under medical supervision who periodically follows up on the cases, and the president of the university followed up on a daily basis for the injured to provide psychological support and reassure them and to meet the families who were provided full accommodation in the university hotel in addition to the university president’s decision to bear the full treatment costs for university hospitals. .
The Minister of Youth and Sports, the President of the University and the Governor visited the rooms of the injured and reassured them, and asked the people about the level of treatment service provided. regarding their children.
And based on the people’s desire, the university president responded to their request for follow-up at the university hospital after their discharge, and the wounds in the hospital will be changed and the necessary will be provided to them until the injured are fully recovered.
