Under the patronage and directives of Dr. Adel Mubarak, President of Menoufia University, the Faculty of Home Economics has prepared to receive students for the new academic year 2021/2022.
Dr. Sherif Sabry, Dean of the Faculty of Home Economics, Menoufia University, confirmed the college's preparations to start studying after taking all precautionary measures and distancing students in the stands to protect all students, faculty and workers from the Corona virus.
And follow-up to sterilize the stands and complete the vaccination of students, based on the directives of the political leadership and its great concern for the safety of students and participants in the educational process.
As well as emphasizing the division of payments into two batches to reduce overcrowding and not to allow non-entry into the halls for those who do not hold a certificate of vaccination.
The readiness of the laboratories and the renewal of the halls of the Graduate Studies Library and the Student Library were also monitored.Dr. Siham Khader, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, confirmed that the college is witnessing remarkable activity within this sector, and convoys are organized periodically to the villages of Ashmoun and Al-Shuhada to teach young men and girls a lot of crafts and industries in order to develop their skills, develop family resources and provide them with income.In the near future, a charity exhibition will be prepared.

And preparing for the establishment of the first week festival for community service from the 7th of next November for a week that includes various activities such as seminars, workshops and convoys for community service and aims to spread community awareness and develop awareness among students and university employees.

Dr. Rushdi Eid, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, explained that a ceremony was held to welcome the new students and introduce them to the college and its activities, and the college guide was distributed to facilitate the students to know everything about the college.

The Vice Dean of the College also confirmed that the courses have been uploaded on the college’s social media platform and the instructions of the Supreme Council of Universities have been applied by converting the university book into an electronic file that is uploaded to the platforms, and the value of the book is collected in a group manner, during which the student obtains a CD for all the subjects of the first semester in exchange for payment of a value determined The number of academic hours according to each semester and each academic year.

The social solidarity has also been expanded as a result of the increase in the funds allocated for this, so that it reaches the largest possible number of deserving students.

Dr. Essam Abdel Hafez, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research Affairs, indicated that the new regulation for the current academic year has been approved and a personal interview will be conducted for everyone who has applied for postgraduate studies, as the number of applicants for “diploma, master’s and doctorate” reached 155 in the Nutrition Department, 17 in the Clothing and Textile Department, 15 in the Department of Home administration, 18 students in the educational department.
