Crisis and Disaster Management at the Faculty of Medicine, Menoufia University, organized an awareness seminar under the title (Initiate to take the Corona vaccine) and a workshop on the stages of crisis treatment and how to confront disasters under the title Your life matters to us..Protect yourself..Protect your country, under the auspices of Dr. Adel Mubarak, President of Menoufia University and Dr. Mahmoud Kora, Dean of the College of Medicine, and Dr. Abdel Rahman El Sebaei, Vice Dean of the College of Medicine for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs

And headed by Dr. Farid Wagdy, Professor of Eye Diseases, Director of Crisis and Disaster Management at the College, and Chairman of the Occupational Safety and Health Committee

The symposium was attended by Dr. Nasser Abdel Bari, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, and a large number of faculty members, nursing staff, faculty and university hospitals.

Dr. Abd al-Rahman al-Sibai confirmed that the aim of these seminars is to spread the culture of knowledge of crisis and disaster management among workers inside the college and university hospitals, and to define roles in crisis situations to save lives and property in a safe and orderly manner. Farid Wagdy also indicated that today's symposium reviewed the types of corona vaccines, which are inactivated or weak virus vaccines, which use an ineffective form of the virus that does not cause disease, but stimulates the immune system to form antibodies to protect the body from infection with the virus in the future, and protein-based vaccines. The symposium confirmed that corona vaccines can prevent infection with corona disease and reduce symptoms of the disease, in addition to the fact that increasing the number of people immunized from infection with Covid-19 slows the spread of the disease, and these vaccines may be the hope for eliminating the epidemic.

The symposium also reviewed the appropriate vaccines for all cases and pregnant women
