Dr. Adel Mubarak, President of Menoufia University, met with the University Student Union Council, which was elected and the result was announced today, after a strong electoral marathon, which resulted in the victory of student Ahmed Mohamed Abu Aila in the fourth year of the Faculty of Home Economics as President of the University Student Union by acclamation. Mubarak congratulated the members of the Union Council and the new president of the union, stressing that the Student Union is the true legitimate representative of all university students, and aims to provide students with methods of sound democratic practice, discover student leaders and refine them to express their views and requirements, and aims to develop spiritual and moral values ​​and national awareness among students. Training them in leadership and giving them the opportunity to express their opinions, and to strengthen the links between them and the faculty and staff, in addition to discovering students’ talents and abilities in various fields through families and student committees to maximize the utilization of students’ energies and employ them in community service.

Mubarak also directed the members of the Council to the importance of performing their role to the fullest extent because they are the link between students and university leaders, and the importance of participating also in developing proposals and solutions to the problems that students may face, and urging students to organize and activate sports, social, artistic and cultural activities through the various committees of the Union to encourage students to practice activities and discover their talents, emphasizing direct communication between him and the members

During the meeting, student Mahmoud Al-Khabbaz, former student union president, congratulated the new student union president and handed him over to his work, wishing him success.

The meeting was attended by Dr. Osama Madani, Dean of Arts and Media Adviser to the President of the University, Dr. Jumaa Hussein, Professor at the Faculty of Specific Education, Dr. Muhammad Shaheen, General Director of Youth Welfare, and Amal Al-Sawy, Director of Families and Student Unions Department.
