The committee concerned with the nomination of professors applying for the position of Dean of the Faculty of Science at Menoufia University was held today, headed by Dr. Adel Mubarak, President of the University, and the membership of Dr. Moawad El-Khouly, former President of Menoufia University and President of New Mansoura University, Dr. Ahmed Refaat, Ain Shams University, Dr. Mohamed Salah El-Din, Benha University, Dr. Mohamed Tawfik is a full-time professor at the Faculty of Science, Menoufia University.

Each of the following: Dr. Adel Nassar, the current Dean of the Faculty, Dr. Yasser Kamal, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, Dr. Hassan Aliwa, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research, Dr. Ahmed Al-Baghdadi, Professor of Minerals and Rocks in the Department of Geology at the Faculty, and Dr. Saeed Al-Zoghdi, Professor of Computer Science, applied for the position of Dean of the Faculty of Science. In the Department of Mathematics at the faculty, Dr. Mohamed Abu Shady is a professor and head of the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at the faculty.
