Dr. Adel Mubarak, President of Menoufia University, held a session of the Council for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs for the month of September 2022 “online” with the participation of the council members, Dr. and Director General of Environmental Projects.

Mubarak began the session by briefing the members on the activities of the visit of Dr. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research to Menoufia University, which is his first visit to the university.

The visit included an inspection tour of Menoufia National University to determine the extent of readiness to receive the students and start the study next October, and the minister's impression of the preparations that took place, praising the amount of work that was done in record time and the work team that works hard to receive the students in the new academic year, stressing that the National University is a miracle that has been achieved thanks to Support the political leadership.

The visit also included laying the foundation stone for the Menoufia University Medical City, which includes the expansion of university hospitals on an area of ​​five acres, which represents a qualitative leap in the medical and treatment service for the community because of its new medical specialties and the increase in the absorptive capacity of the number of beds and care rooms to accommodate the increasing numbers of visitors to university hospitals, appreciating The efforts of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, the President of the Republic, to develop the two most important files to serve the citizen, namely health and education, and the full support he provides to develop these files.

Mubarak pointed to the new achievement that is being worked on, which is the provision of a desert back to the university on an area of ​​200 acres in Sadat. The full conception of this space has been developed, as the desert backyard includes 6 specialized medical centers (with an area of ​​50 acres), Menoufia Technological University (with an area of ​​40 acres), an extension Menoufia National University (with an area of ​​35 acres), new colleges according to the strategic plan (fine arts, Alsun) (with an area of ​​20 acres), educational research farms (with an area of ​​30 acres).

Mubarak followed the agenda of the session and congratulated Dr. Saeed Abdel-Ati Suleiman, professor in the Department of Electronics Engineering and Electrical Communications at the College of Electronic Engineering, for his appointment as Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and congratulations to Dr. Thanks to Mr. Ali Abdullah Emara and the laziness of the Ministry of Manpower for his efforts during his membership in the Council.
