Dr. Adel Mubarak, President of Menoufia University, held a session of the Council for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs for the month of October 2022 “online” with the participation of council members, Dr. and Director General of Environmental Projects.

Mubarak began the session by congratulating the anniversary of the victories of October and the Prophet's birthday, and congratulating the new agents, Dr. Hani Shreim at the Liver Institute, and Dr. El-Sayed Abdel-Wahab at the Faculty of Mass Communication.

Mubarak congratulated on the occasion of the start of the school year on the first of this October, and the regularity of the educational process at Menoufia University, directing the importance of preparing for organizing awareness seminars in all faculties to introduce students to various societal issues and national projects that the Egyptian state is witnessing under the leadership of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, and to educate them The importance of participating in national initiatives aimed at the benefit of the citizen, and setting a time plan for these seminars and starting implementation.

The university president announced the result of the environmental excellence competition for the second semester of the last academic year, and the Faculty of Electronic Engineering in Menouf won the first place, and the Faculties of Law and Commerce won equally the second place.

Mubarak followed up on the implementation of the decisions of the last session, taking note of what was done during the university’s participation in the forum of universities’ activities and events to confront climate changes, issuing the special issue of the Development and Society Bulletin October 2022, and reviewing the August report on the activity of the community service and environmental development sector in various faculties, and a report About the integrated convoys in the villages of the province during the month of September.

Mubarak discussed the proposal to establish a psychological counseling center at the College of Education, a unit of a special nature, and discuss the financial and administrative regulations. Developing the capabilities of students and graduates in the fields of psychological counseling, raising awareness and educating the community and taking care of its mental health through educational seminars, printed brochures and workshops.
