The Department of Leadership Development, under the auspices of Menoufia University’s youth, participated in the cohort organized by the Institute of Leaders Preparation in Helwan entitled (Preparation of General Leaders), which is held under the slogan (New Leaders) during the period from 14-17 November 2022 under the auspices of Dr. Adel Mubarak, President of the University and Dr. Nancy Asaad, Vice President The University for Education and Student Affairs and the General Supervision

The forum aims at the Egyptian state’s interest in rehabilitating and training young people. The Ministry of Higher Education and the Institute for Leadership Development pay great attention to discovering talents from Egyptian university students, and to provide them with a lot of experiences that develop their personalities and their participation in implementing initiatives that enable students to play a positive role in university life, and to integrate Students in the community and unleash their energies, which leads to a deepening of belonging to the homeland.

The General Leaders Preparation regiment included the opening session, several lectures on combating corruption and combating extremist ideas, and another on the role of art as one of the soft forces in confronting unhealthy ideas, in addition to a lecture on human development and self-development, and a lecture entitled Egyptian national security and its relationship to foreign conspiracies. Workshops on leadership skills, in addition to practicing a variety of activities "sports, cultural, artistic...etc." The group concluded with a closing ceremony and the distribution of certificates of appreciation to the participants.
