Today, the Student Union Elections Marathon at Menoufia University was launched under the auspices of Dr. Adel Mubarak, President of the University, and the supervision of Dr. Nancy Asaad, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs.

The President of the University confirmed that the conduct of the elections is being followed up at the university since its inception according to the schedule announced by the Supreme Council of Universities, explaining the importance of these student elections at the level of Egyptian universities, given that the Student Union is the link between students and the university administration, and that student unions aim to consolidate national awareness And raising the value of belonging and societal values ​​and deepening the foundations of democracy, human rights and citizenship among students, and also aims to prepare student cadres capable of shouldering responsibility, especially in light of the achievements that the Egyptian state is witnessing under the leadership of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, towards the path of stability, construction and sustainable development since Assuming power, he wished success to the students participating in the elections, the conduct of the elections with the utmost integrity and transparency, and the selection of whoever represents the students.

Dr. Nancy Asaad added that the student unions work to motivate students to engage in student activities, leverage students' talents, develop their abilities and skills, and employ them for the benefit of the student and the university, and represent students at home and abroad and defend their interests and rights in a manner that does not contradict university traditions and values, and communicate with various parties to provide and improve The services provided to them, facilitating the practice of students to freely express their opinions on various issues, and strengthening relations with student unions within Egyptian universities.

Dr. Islam Faydallah, the central leader of the Students for Egypt family at the university, during the student conference, thanked the university president, vice president and youth care on behalf of the family students for their interest in the family, explaining that every member of the Students for Egypt family supports the family in every way to excel in every way.
