Today, Dr. Adel Mubarak, President of Menoufia University, Dr. Sobhi Sharaf, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, Accountant Jalal Abdel Salam, Secretary General of the University, received Colonel Muhammad Fawzy Sayed, Deputy Director of the Recruitment and Mobilization Area in Tanta, Colonel Walid Muhammad Khudair, Commander of the Medical Council in Tanta, and Colonel Muhammad Abdel Wahhab, Head of the Medical Commission, Lieutenant Colonel Mahmoud Galal, Head of Menoufia Recruitment and Mobilization Department, and Head of Military Communication at Menoufia University, in order to conduct a medical examination for students of determination and those with disabilities and injuries that prevent them from performing military service, in the information center hall.


Mubarak explained that this procedure takes place annually at the university to reduce the burden on students of determination and help them complete the procedures for performing military service and give final exemption to deserving students after conducting the necessary medical examination on them. The armed forces to provide facilities for people of determination to end their conscription position, and the university’s keenness to take care of its students of determination and care for them, and to facilitate procedures for issuing exemption certificates, in order to facilitate the students of the university in obtaining all services related to the performance of military service and beyond.


Dr. Sobhi Sharaf continued the progress of the work of the medical committee, the presence of students who will be subject to a medical examination, and making sure that all the necessary needs are provided, stressing the university's keenness to provide all means of cooperation and comfort for the university's children of determination.


The committee, in cooperation with the General Administration of Medical Affairs at the university, signed a medical examination for the 30 applicants from Menoufia University and 8 from Al-Azhar University. The results showed that 25 students were unfit, and they obtained final exemption from conscription.


The committee included a number of doctors in the armed forces: Major Doctor Mahmoud Abu Al-Saud, Major Doctor Abdo Saeed, First Assistant Muhammad Abdul Mardi, Commander of the Military Liaison Office, and the administrative staff.


The committee was accompanied by Dr. Mahmoud Zayed, Director General of the General Administration of Medical Affairs, Major General Imad Al-Masaidi, Director General of Internal Security at the university, Accountant Khaled Ajour, Director General of Public Relations and Media, Mr. Azouz, Director of the Medical Administration Office at the university, Wael Khulusi, Director General of the Office of the Vice President for Education and Student Affairs.
