Dr. Ahmed El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, witnessed the conclusion of the activities of the Third Conference of Presidents of Arab and Russian Universities, which was organized by the University of Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates, under the auspices of His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and President of the University of Sharjah, in cooperation with the General Secretariat of the Association of Arab Universities under the supervision of Dr. Amr Salama Amin. The year of the union, where the conference witnessed wide participation of ministers of education from Arab countries, presidents of more than 60 of the largest Russian universities, presidents of 7 universities from the UAE, presidents of the universities of Menoufia, Helwan, Beni Suef, Suez, Banha, Fayoum, South Valley, Mansoura, and some heads of private and private universities from Egypt.

The president of the university indicated that the conclusion of the conference witnessed discussion sessions on the topic of keeping pace with the digital transformation in higher education systems in light of technological developments and open applications of artificial intelligence. A number of prominent scientific figures from Russian universities and Arab universities spoke in it. Various universities to enhance the exchange of experiences in order to achieve the strategy aimed at by the conference.

El-Kased added that the conference concluded its activities by presenting the recommendations reached by the participants after the various scientific sessions of the conference, which discussed several important axes. Strategies were put in place to exchange experiences and expertise between Arab and Russian universities in the fields of training, cultural activities and sports programs, and the results of the discussions of Arab and Russian academic credits and classifications. And international, ways to implement digital transformation in higher education systems and open applications of artificial intelligence, and how to consolidate understanding and communication between Arab and Russian universities.

The activities concluded with the exchange of shields and gifts between the universities participating in the conference.
