Dr. Ahmed El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, participates in the activities of the Third Conference of Presidents of Arab and Russian Universities, which is being held at the University of Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates, under the auspices of His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and President of the University of Sharjah, in cooperation with the General Secretariat of the Association of Arab Universities, with the participation and presence of Dr. Amr Salama Amin The year of the Association of Arab Universities, a number of ministers of education from Arab countries, presidents of more than 60 of the largest Russian universities, presidents of 7 universities from the UAE, presidents of Helwan, Beni Suef, Suez, Banha, Fayoum, South Valley, Mansoura, and some heads of private and private universities from Egypt.

Dr. Ahmed El-Kased explained that the conference started its sessions today and continues for two days. The third conference is a continuation of the series of periodic meetings held by the General Secretariat of the Association of Arab Universities. The conference discusses, through its multiple sessions, which are chaired by prominent personalities from various disciplines, several axes, the most important of which are: developing strategies for the exchange of experiences experiences and foundations for exchanging knowledge between young Arab and Russian universities in the fields of training, cultural activities and sports programs, promoting joint scientific research between Russian and Arab universities and drawing prospects for cooperation in the fields of scientific research and joint academic programmes, in addition to discussing Arab, Russian and international academic credits and classifications, and the importance of keeping pace with digital transformation in Higher education systems in light of technological developments and open applications of artificial intelligence.

The university president also confirmed that the conference discussed common challenges and opportunities and the latest scientific and technological developments of the universities participating in the conference and discussed finding a strong base for consolidating understanding and communication between Arab and Russian universities. The conference also witnessed the organization of workshops, technical lectures and dialogue discussions within the program.
