Prof. Ahmed El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, has issued a series of decisions to appoint and assign new department heads in several faculties of the university. This move comes as part of the university’s commitment to strengthening its administrative structure, enhancing academic performance, ensuring the smooth operation of the educational process, and preparing for the upcoming academic year.

Prof. El-Kased instructed the newly appointed academic leaders to work in a spirit of teamwork, contributing to the continued progress of Menoufia University, and to implement the policies and strategies of both the university and the Ministry of Higher Education. He stressed the importance of full adherence to applicable laws and regulations and the need to achieve tangible, positive outcomes.

The decisions included:

• Appointment of Prof. Farhat Abdel-Sayed El-Sayed Mohamed, Professor at the Department of Agricultural Extension and Rural Society, Faculty of Agriculture, as Head of Department until reaching the statutory retirement age.

• Appointment of Prof. Ahmed Abdel-Qawy Ahmed Abdel-Aal, Professor at the Department of Economic Entomology and Agricultural Zoology, Faculty of Agriculture, as Head of Department for a three-year term.

• Appointment of Prof. Tehani El-Sayed El-Sayed Amr, Professor at the Department of Maternal and Newborn Health Nursing, Faculty of Nursing, as Head of Department.

• Appointment of Prof. Rafik Fikry Suleiman, Professor at the Department of Cardiothoracic Surgery, Faculty of Medicine, as Head of Department for a three-year term.

• Appointment of Prof. Nermeen Abdel-Wahab Hassan, Professor at the Department of Computer Engineering and Science, Faculty of Electronic Engineering, as Head of Department.

• Appointment of Prof. Tarek Ahmed Mohamed, Professor at the Department of Industrial Electronics and Control Engineering, Faculty of Electronic Engineering, as Head of Department for a three-year term.

• Appointment of Prof. Ola Youssef Mohamed, Professor at the Department of Clothing and Textile, Faculty of Home Economics, as Head of Department for a three-year term.

• Assignment of Assoc. Prof. Eman El-Sayed Ibrahim, Associate Professor at the Department of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care, National Liver Institute, to act as Head of Department.
