President of Menoufia University Announces Accreditation of Four Programs at the Faculty of Agriculture by the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education

Prof. Ahmed El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, announced that four academic programs at the Faculty of Agriculture have received accreditation from the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education (NAQAAE), following their fulfillment of standards for academic excellence and institutional quality according to the approved regulations.

Prof. El-Kased emphasized that the accreditation of these programs represents a significant step reflecting the University’s substantial efforts to enhance the educational process and develop academic programs in line with the needs of the local and regional labor market. He noted that the University continuously seeks to strengthen its competitiveness and achieve the State’s vision for advancing higher education, supporting innovation, and promoting scientific research.

He highlighted that the Faculty of Agriculture is one of the leading faculties that has made tangible progress in updating its programs and providing an advanced learning environment. The accreditation is the result of collaborative efforts by all faculty members, administrative staff, and students.

The accredited programs are:

  1. Economic and Social Sciences Program – Agricultural Economics Track

  2. Economic and Social Sciences Program – Agricultural Extension and Rural Community Track

  3. Land and Water Program

  4. Animal and Poultry Production Program – Animal Production Track

Prof. El-Kased expressed his great pride in the consecutive achievements of the University’s faculties in the field of quality and accreditation. He noted that this year has been declared as the Year of Quality at the University, with all faculties witnessing notable progress in developing their academic programs, updating regulations, and fulfilling institutional and program accreditation requirements. He affirmed that these achievements are the result of collective efforts and continuous collaboration between the faculties and the University’s Quality Assurance Center, extending thanks to all for their outstanding performance that elevates the University’s local and international standing.

The University President congratulated the Faculty members and expressed appreciation to the University and Faculty Quality Assurance teams, affirming the ongoing efforts toward accrediting additional academic programs in the coming period. He stressed that this accomplishment reflects the University’s full commitment to enhancing education quality and providing graduates with skills aligned with contemporary needs, noting that program accreditation improves the employability of the Faculty’s graduates.

Prof. Salah El-Khouly, Dean of the Faculty, also praised this achievement, highlighting the ongoing efforts to advance the educational process and improve learning outcomes. He affirmed that the accreditation of these programs represents a significant step in enhancing the Faculty’s reputation and academic ranking, extending thanks to everyone who contributed to this success.
