Prof. Ahmed Farag El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, held a meeting with Prof. Mansour Mohamed, Dean of the Faculty of Law, in the presence of Prof. Atef El-Feki, Professor at the Faculty; Prof. Reda El-Abd, Head of the Civil Law Department; and Prof. Norhan Mousa, Director of the Faculty Quality Assurance Unit. The meeting aimed to follow up on the quality assurance and academic accreditation file and discuss the proposed amendment and development of the academic regulations in line with labor market requirements and recent developments in legal education.
During the meeting, the University President affirmed the university’s commitment to supporting its various faculties in achieving the highest standards of quality and accreditation. He pointed out that the development of academic regulations comes within the framework of the university’s continuous plan to modernize academic programs in a manner that contributes to preparing graduates capable of competing and keeping pace with local and international developments.
He also stressed the importance of strengthening the practical and training aspects within academic programs and paying greater attention to developing students’ legal and research skills, in line with the university’s vision of providing distinguished higher education that links academic studies with community needs.
Prof. Ahmed Farag El-Kased further explained that the university places great importance on quality assurance and accreditation as one of the main pillars for developing the educational process and enhancing academic and administrative performance across various faculties. He noted that the university has declared the 2025/2026 academic year as the “Year of Quality” at Menoufia University within the framework of a comprehensive plan aimed at promoting a culture of quality and achieving institutional and academic excellence, thereby contributing to improving educational outcomes and strengthening the university’s competitiveness locally and internationally.
For his part, the Dean of the Faculty of Law reviewed the faculty’s efforts regarding the quality assurance file and the steps implemented in preparation for meeting accreditation standards, in addition to the key features of the proposed amendments to the academic regulations, which include updating courses and developing teaching and assessment methods in line with recent developments in legal studies.
The meeting also witnessed extensive discussions among faculty members regarding mechanisms for developing the educational process and ways to enhance the academic and research standards of the Faculty, in a manner that supports the position of Menoufia University among Egyptian universities and strengthens its role in preparing qualified legal professionals to serve the community.
