Prof. Ahmed Farag El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, expressed his profound sorrow and heartfelt condolences on the passing of Prof. Amr Helmy, former Minister of Health and Population and former Dean of the National Liver Institute, who passed away after a distinguished career dedicated to serving Egypt's healthcare and higher education sectors.
Prof. Ahmed Farag El-Kased affirmed that the late Prof. Amr Helmy was one of Egypt's most distinguished national figures in the medical field. During his tenure as Minister of Health and Population, he made significant contributions to the advancement of the country's healthcare system. He also played a pivotal role in supporting the National Liver Institute at Menoufia University, where he exemplified the qualities of an outstanding scholar, physician, and dedicated administrator, contributing substantially to the Institute's academic and medical excellence and strengthening its prestigious reputation.
