President of Menoufia University Casts His Vote in the Elections of the University Employees' Healthcare and Social Welfare Association as the New Board Is Announced Following Competition Among 18 Candidates

Menoufia University held the elections for the Board of Directors of the University Employees' Healthcare and Social Welfare Association under the patronage of Prof. Ahmed Farag El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, and under the supervision of the Ministry of Social Solidarity. The elections were conducted in line with the University's commitment to the principles of transparency and democracy, providing members of the General Assembly with the opportunity to elect their representatives to the Association's Board of Directors for the upcoming term.

Prof. Ahmed Farag El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, participated in the electoral process by casting his vote. Prof. Sobhy Sharaf, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs; Prof. Ghada Ali Hassan, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research; Mrs. Soaad Bayoumi, Secretary-General of the University; together with the Assistant Secretaries-General, also cast their votes amid a strong turnout from members of the University's administrative staff.

The University President emphasized the significant role played by the Association in providing healthcare and social welfare services to university employees and their families. He noted that the positive participation in the elections reflects employees' awareness and their commitment to supporting institutional development and enhancing the quality of services delivered through the Association.

Prof. Ahmed Farag El-Kased further affirmed that the University administration fully supports all entities that contribute to improving the quality of life of its employees by providing comprehensive care and support. He commended the excellent organization of the electoral process and the full adherence to the governing regulations under the supervision of the Ministry of Social Solidarity, ensuring the integrity and transparency of the elections and reflecting the distinguished standing of Menoufia University.

The elections witnessed keen competition among 18 candidates representing the University's employees. Members of the General Assembly began arriving early in the day to cast their votes and elect the new Board of Directors in an atmosphere characterized by cooperation, discipline, and a shared commitment to ensuring the success of the electoral process.

According to the official vote count, 640 members of the General Assembly participated in the elections. A total of 582 valid ballots were recorded, while 58 ballots were declared invalid.

Based on the final announced results, the candidates receiving the highest number of votes were:

At the conclusion of the vote-counting process, which was supervised by Prof. Sobhy Sharaf, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and Mr. Khaled El-Naggar, Director General of Legal Affairs at the University, the election results were officially announced. Prof. Ahmed Farag El-Kased congratulated the newly elected Board members, wishing them every success in carrying out their responsibilities during the coming term. He encouraged them to work collaboratively to strengthen the Association's role, further develop its services, and expand the scope of healthcare and social welfare programs provided to the University's employees and their families.

Prof. Ahmed Farag El-Kased concluded by emphasizing that the University Employees' Healthcare and Social Welfare Association represents one of the University's key pillars in supporting its staff through a wide range of healthcare and social programs that promote social stability and well-being. He expressed his confidence in the newly elected Board's ability to continue the Association's legacy of service and achievement while fulfilling the aspirations of its General Assembly members in the years ahead.
