Today, Dr. Ahmed El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, received Brigadier General Mohamed Fawzi Sayed, Deputy Director of the Tanta Recruitment and Mobilization Area, Colonel Mahmoud Gadallah Mohamed, Head of the Recruitment Branch, Colonel Walid Mohamed Khudair, Commander of the Medical Council, Colonel Mahmoud Mohamed Galal, Head of the Menoufia Recruitment and Mobilization Department, and the Medical Committee team from the Recruitment Area. Tanta mobilization and from the Recruitment and Mobilization Department in Menoufia, in the presence of Dr. Sobhi Sharaf, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and Dr. Hazem Saleh, Vice President of the University for Postgraduate Studies and Research.


This is to conduct a medical examination for students with special needs, disabilities, and injuries that prevent them from performing military service.


El-Kased stressed the importance of this visit, which aims to reduce the burden on students with special needs and their families, in implementation of the directives of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, and out of the Armed Forces’ keenness to provide facilities for people with special needs to end their position on conscription and to exempt them medically from performing military service in the Armed Forces.


El-Kased also stressed the university’s keenness to pay attention to and care for students with disabilities, provide them with all means of comfort, and facilitate procedures for issuing exemption certificates, so that they can obtain all services related to performing military service and beyond.


The committee conducted a medical examination for the 39 applicants from Menoufia University, Menoufia National University, Al-Azhar University, and Sadat University. The results of the medical examination showed that 19 students were exempted, and 20 students were postponed to undergo further medical examinations.


The committee also included Colonel Doctor Muhammad Muhammad Abd al-Wahab, Chairman of the Medical Council, Major Doctor Abdo Saeed Abdo, Major Doctor Ahmed Salah al-Din Ahmed, and First Assistant Muhammad Abd al-Mardi, Commander of the University’s Military Liaison Office.


The committee was accompanied by Major General Imad Al-Mesidi, Director General of Internal Security at the University, and Dr. Ashraf Medhat, Director General of the General Administration of Medical Affairs.
