Under the patronage of Dr. Ahmed Farag El-Kased , President of the University, the visits of university students to the Cairo International Book Fair continue, as the General Administration of Student Welfare, “Leadership Preparation Department” and the Department of Military Education, organized a visit for a delegation of university students, including 26 male and female students, and a group of faculty members, to the Cairo International Book Fair. Dr. Ahmed El-Kased stressed the importance of student participation in the book fair activities to inform students of the latest releases from local and international publishing houses, in addition to providing the university libraries with everything new.

The university president also pointed to the fruitful cooperation between the Department of Military Education and the Ministry of Defense with the University’s Leadership Development Department to organize these visits and educate students about the state’s efforts in all fields.

El-Kased explained that the students visited several pavilions at the exhibition, and the students inspected the pavilions of the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Interior, and Administrative Control, and saw the championships and achievements included in the exhibition, to be an incentive for them to love the country and develop in them the spirit of loyalty and belonging.

This visit comes within a program of various visits under the supervision of Dr. Muhammad Shaheen, Director General of the General Administration for Youth Welfare, Colonel Staff Colonel Hani Mosaddeq, Director of the Military Education Department, and Osama Dhaif, Director of the Leadership Preparation Department. Dr. Heba Al-Ghotmi, Dr. Asma Sobhi, and Issam Abu Muslim participated in the visit.
