Menoufia University students visit the 55th edition of the Cairo International Book Fair

Under the patronage of Dr. Ahmed El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, the General Administration of Youth Welfare (the Departments of Families, Unions, and Cultural Activity) organized a visit for university students to the Cairo International Book Fair in its fifty-fifth session, which is being held this year under the slogan “We create knowledge, we preserve the word,” under the supervision of Dr. Mohamed Shaheen. Director General of the General Administration for Student Welfare.


Dr. Ahmed El-Kased stressed the university’s keenness to pay attention to the cultural aspect of students in addition to the academic and research path to spread awareness and culture among students, pointing out that the university students’ visit to the exhibition comes within the framework of the university’s belief in the role of student activities in developing their cultural aspect and providing opportunities for cultural interaction and knowledge exchange, as During the visits, students are exposed to the latest books, references, and novels in various fields, in addition to being an opportunity for university students to purchase new books from the exhibition, which is one of the largest book fairs in the Middle East and the world.


El-Kased directed the need to provide all means of facilitation to students wishing to visit the exhibition and attend various events with the aim of maximizing benefit from the exhibition, which is a cultural festival that contributes to raising the degree of awareness and culture among students.


The Director General of the General Administration of Student Welfare added that the visit included students visiting the Administrative Control Authority’s pavilion, the Police Academy’s pavilion, and the Ministry of Defense’s pavilion, in addition to visiting the pavilions of a large number of publishing houses participating in the exhibition.
