The President of Menoufia University reviews the activities and projects of the Education Council for the month of February

Dr. Ahmed El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, reviewed a number of activities and projects of the Education and Student Affairs Council in February 2024, during the monthly council meeting, in the presence of the colleges’ deputies for education and student affairs and members of the committee.


Dr. Ahmed El-Kased began the council by congratulating the faculty members, workers and students on the night of the middle of Sha`ban and the advent of the blessed month of Ramadan, calling on God Almighty to bring them back to us and our country with goodness and blessings.


El-Kased welcomed Dr. Adel Rifaat’s joining of the Education Council and congratulated him on his position as Vice Dean of the College of Information for Education and Student Affairs.


The new university president also reviewed the university and college courses in qualifying male and female students in the “Mawaddah” project in cooperation with the Ministry of Social Solidarity to qualify those about to get married, preserve the entity of the Egyptian family, and provide students with experience and the family foundations on which society is built.


Dr. Ahmed El-Kased also discussed the activities of the Measurement and Evaluation Center and the new standards for the examination paper in terms of form, content, and modern methods of automated marking, along with the necessity of continuous training within the colleges on marking programs and announcing the results in record time and accurately.


The University President announced the fourth season of the National Reading Project Competition for Egyptian university students, the “Diamond Reader Competition,” affiliated with the Scientific Research Foundation in the United Arab Emirates, with the participation of a number of relevant Egyptian ministries.


Dr. Ahmed El-Kased called on the colleges’ representatives for education to invite and support students to participate in the competition’s activities and to encourage students to read throughout the academic year.


The Council also approved the previous minutes of the Education Council. The formation of some topics was discussed, including the formation of committees in the Faculties of Commerce and Specific Education to study and launch new programs. The Council also discussed amending the regulations of the College of Education to improve the academic level of some students in summer training in accordance with the mechanisms and standards of the new regulations.
