Dr. Ahmed El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, participated in the Egyptian University Leadership Program organized by the Fulbright Commission from February 29 to March 2 of this year in Sahl Hasheesh, in the presence of Dr. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education, Dr. Maggie Nassif, Executive Director of the Fulbright Commission, and university presidents.

The university president explained that the program reviews the university’s role in nurturing innovators and entrepreneurs and establishing incubators to make innovation and invention an essential part of supporting the local and national economy, through the lectures and discussions included in the program to benefit from the experiences and expertise of American professors in enhancing the role of universities in entrepreneurship and exploiting available and surrounding resources. At the university in order to achieve sustainable development at all levels, stressing the importance of the role of education and scientific research in achieving Egypt’s Vision 2030, and the interest in linking the contents and outputs of scientific research with industry and qualification for the local and international labor market, and supporting the political leadership for education and scientific research as it is an engine for the national economy.
It is worth noting that the Egyptian University Leadership Program is a grant provided by the Fulbright Commission to the president of the university, as the Fulbright Commission is one of the largest and oldest bodies in the Middle East region, and one of several cultural exchange programs for the United States that aims to provide scholarships and scholarships to enhance opportunities for exchanging experiences, and open areas of Diverse in academic and research aspects with the Authority.
