Menoufia University advances to the second round in the five-a-side football competitions in the fifty-first sports session for Egyptian universities

Dr. Ahmed El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, announced that Menoufia University has advanced to the second round in the pentathlon competitions in the 51st Martyr Al-Rifai Championship for Egyptian universities, which is held under the patronage of Dr. Mohamed Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Egyptian Sports Federation for Universities, and Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Youth and Sports. Dr. Mohamed Sobhi Hassanein, Advisor to the Minister of Higher Education for Sports Activities and Vice President of the Sports Federation.

Dr. Ahmed El-Kased pointed out that Menoufia University won first place in the second group in the five-a-side football game, which was held at Menoufia University during the period from 5-7/3/2024 AD.
The group included universities (Menoufia - Al Salam - Tanta - Sadat City).
Menoufia University won over Al-Salam University 3-0 and Sadat City University 3-0 by withdrawing and tied with Tanta University 0-0.
With this result, Menoufia University advanced to the second and final stage, which will be held during the holy month of Ramadan.
The team was supervised by Dr. Mohamed Shaheen, General Director of Student Welfare, Captain Yasser Jamal, Director of Sports Activity, Captain Moataz Sadiq, Activity Supervisor, Captain Ayman Abdel Qawi, Technical Director, Captain Khaled Tolba, Coach, and Captain Ahmed Abdel Rahim, Supervisor of the team.
The team's roster includes players Ibrahim Zayed, Mohamed Fathi, Ziad Ahmed, Mohamed Wael, Mustafa Mohamed, Saad Abdel Aziz, Ali Mamdouh, Hadi Ihab, Abdel Rahman Saeed, Mohamed Omar, Mohi Mohamed, Ibrahim Fathi and Abdullah Yasser.
