Under the patronage of Dr. Ahmed El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, the General Administration for Student Welfare, “Department of Social Activities and Trips,” in cooperation with the Ministry of Youth and Sports, “Central Administration for Youth Development, General Administration for University Programs and Activities,” organized a medical convoy that headed to the village of Qors, Ashmoun Center, one of the villages of the Decent Life Initiative, which It was launched by His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, under the patronage of Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Youth and Sports, Dr. Ahmed Al-Qasid, President of the University, and Dr. Sobhi Sharaf, Vice President of the University for Community Service Affairs.

Dr. Ahmed El-Kased pointed out that the convoy examined and provided free treatment for about 1,076 cases from the people of the village of Qors and the neighboring village. The convoy included doctors from the teaching staff and the auxiliary staff at the College of Medicine in the specialties of children, internal medicine, nose, ear, ophthalmia, chest, dermatology, and tests, which were carried out during the convoy. Conducting a virus B analysis for early detection of the disease, in addition to holding awareness seminars on the dangers of addiction and drugs in cooperation with a team from the Fund for Combating Addiction and Drugs.
Al-Qasid added that the cases for which a medical examination was conducted amounted to 143 cases of skin, 98 cases of ophthalmia, 116 cases in children, 231 cases of nose and ears, 88 cases of chest, 137 internal cases, while 53 cases of B virus were analyzed. The seminars were also attended by 210 people from the country. The village and neighboring villages.
The university president stressed the importance of this convoy, which comes in cooperation with the Ministry of Youth and Sports and aims to advance the villages most in need and provide them with free medical and therapeutic services.
The activities of the caravan took place under the supervision of Dr. Muhammad Al-Nomani, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Dr. Rania Azmi, Dr. Farid Wagdy, Dr. Muhammad Shaheen, Director General of the General Administration for Student Welfare, Hamdi Abdel Rahman, Director General of the General Administration for Community Service, Hossam Abu Al-Naga, Director of the University’s Caravan Department, and Muhammad Khattab, Director of the Social Activities Department.
